ok so im posting this for my buddy Mark, Roc THIS, cause he is having issues getting on here. he and his buddies just got another third gen and it has the 1LE brake package, but it needs new brakes. however he says he cant get the parts they need, and is wondering if there is any other parts he can use, like if the LS1 brakes bolt right up. im sure if he can get on he'll comment and add thoughts. you guys got any suggestions for him?

 

Can't get the parts?? What parts? i just bought 1le rotors and bearings from rockauto.com

 

i believe he is looking for the whole set up, rotors, pads, and calipers.

 

All the above are available from auto parts stores. Sometimes the ordering info will read "with 1LE" and sometimes, "with performance package."

Also try looking for BRAKE parts and not Breaks.. Correct spelling helps.

-_- i totally cant believe i managed to do that. since i suck at spelling, i double checked my post to make sure i spelled brakes right, and what do i do? screw up the thread title. oh well. my bad. i told mark to check this out, cause from what you've all said, it seems that its easy to get parts. i wonder why he couldn't find the parts.

 

Hey guys , here is the deal. We tried autozone , pepboys , advance , napa , carquest ,AND murrys. NOTHING . All do not stock and half cant order it due to supplier being out of stock. Any one have any websites?

Rock Auto. Have an original 1LE and just replaced rotors, pads, and hoses.
