brake calipers for LS rear
If the answer is already here I didn,t see it so I will ask it. I got a 2000 LS rear zexel torsen posi track recently but it was stripped of all braking components except the part you bolt the backing plate to. I have found ( I hope) a 96 or so s10 and s10 blazer with disc brakes on the rear. Is there anyway that I can use these?

Thats easier said than done around here. If I could afford the new LS calipers and setup then I wouldn,t have this problem.

as for the blazer brakes, i dont know what they style backing plate they use, and the axle lengths and such. if they are free parts, you could give them a try and see what happens.

Re: brake calipers for LS rear
More than likely you will need to remove that remaining piece. The S10 axle should have the same bolt pattern as the 4th gen axle. 10 to 1 you will need everything and will have to discard the remaining brake part on the 4th gen axle. The only concern I would have regarding bolting up is the dimension from the axle flange to the hub face.

the flange is the same for all disc cars from 82-02. can be done but its a slightly smaller rotor. still an upgrade from drum. lol. where are you located that its hard to get parts if i may ask?

I am in Hattiesburg Ms. The junk yards around here crush everything over 10 years old and most thats over 7. Except the ones in the outer limits and they have been picked over. Like I said its tough down here.
