I want to avoid scraping up the rotor or anything.

Those don't look bad. Just a minor scrape or dent. As long as the lining isn't cracked, I'd use them.

I didn't see anything bent or cracked. I just don't want to get my rotors turned and then find that my chipped pads caused some kind of scoring. Or squeaks.

I'm thinking about buying another set to compare them to make sure the gold-ish metal pieces aren't bent. The way I see it, either way they'll be used.
