Is 200 a good price?
Hi I was curios if 200 was a good price for a posi with disc brakes rear end. I found a guy selling one who said it is complete. Right now I have a drum rear end

i paid 150 for a complete setup, but you might want to check into brake boosters and lines. i believe you need to run more. others will know more. i have aluminum drums on my posi for now.

150 then seems like a real good deal. I was pricing parts just to convert my rear to disc and it was a lot. I may try to haggle with guy a little. Is there anything special you have to do if your existing gears are different then the rear end you are swapping?

I did not think it mattered. I thought it may change speedo, but guy who I want to buy from said it does something to rpms
