This Combo? will it work well?
Hey guys I was going to an upgrade on my brakes on the front of my car. I was thinking about going with these slotted Rotors,

and these hawks Brake pads.

This would of course be under the stock calipers. Any opinions on this Combo or send me in another direction? I'm not looking for some super high power brakes as My car is mainly stock but sometimes some situations get sketchy.
Thanks

forget the drilled rotors, they really wont prove anything. Stock replacements and the hawks pads will work.
just make sure the flex lines and the calipers are in good condition as well. If needed, you can get remanned calipers dirt cheap from most auto parts stores.

The calipers are ok as the car brakes well. The lines have been freshly replaced as I totally restored the car almost 4 months ago. So what is the general consensus on the pads. I mean are they really worth the 66$ for them? If so I have no problem going that route

hawks pads are good pads, but FWIW, i usually just used acdelco replacements on my cars when they still had the stock brakes and they work just fine for DD, street driven, purposes.
