C5 brake line
Ok, I upgraded my brakes awhile back and purchased everything before starting it. Now that I just changed my springs I switched the 1LE brake lines that were recomended back to the C5 ones that came with my calipers when I purchased them. My question is why recomend such long lines that need to be zip tied out of the way instead of using the C5 original lines?

Re: C5 brake line
the brakes lines are held to the strut with a clip and bracket that bolts to the strut. do you have this part?
FWIW, i used the stock iron front brake type hoses with my c5 setup and it works just fine. And FWIW, i think the stock c5 front lines are much longer than the 1le lines are.

Re: C5 brake line
I have the factory brackets that bolt to the strut but don't even need them with the C5 lines. The 1LE lines were WAY longer than the C5 that I am using. Beginning to wonder if they sold me the wrong lines or something. Going to measure the length of the 1LE lines I have. Anyone know what length they should be?
