Proportioning Valve question
so i got a job working at a salvage yard for the winter and be collecting some parts for my camaro. i picked up 3 sets of electric fans from a 2004 buick to fit the camaro, but thats not what im getting at, i have been goin through the gm section at work and we have a few astro van that have rear disc brake on them and a whole bunch of gm trucks with rear disc brake i have grabbed 1 propor valve from and astro van and a chev tahoe. i know the tube nuts will be differnt size which isnt a big deal im just wondering if this will work with my ls1 brake swap? i dont see why it wont cause both vechiles have rear disc brakes. just wanna hear some input.
thanks

Re: Proportioning Valve question
The valves change with braking options: disc/drum, disc/disc (iron Delco-Moraine calipers and 10.5" rotors), and disc/1LE (alum PBR calipers and 11.7" rotors). For best brake performance then, the correct valve is needed. For the LS1 swap, most use the 1LE combination valve, but of course it's metric and won't fit your application. Best bet may be an adjustable valve.
