BW 9bolt rear pic needed!
Hey guys, im in need of a photo of anyone with a borg warner 9 bolt rear with iron calipers. i need to see how the parking brake mounts to the caliper. i would have taken my own but i have drum and im switching to disks and when i pulled the rear end off the junkyard car, someone had already snagged the ebrake cable. soo unfortunately i dont know how im going to mountt new PB cables or if im missing parts to be able to mount it. if need be ill show you what i got and someone can let me know what else i need to make my ebrake cables work. thanks guys i know you can help me -Aaron

In response to your PM. Check the following site for cables (without performance package):
http://www.rockauto.com/index.php?a=...rtsgascappromo
Also you should note that there is no difference in the 9- and 10-bolt braking systems--the iron Delco-Moraine calipers and rotors are identical.
BTW, I hope you snapped up the disc/disc combination valve from the donor car as you'll need it for best brake performance.
There's a "bit" of a pic in the following thread (post #1):

ahhh i see. but in that pic arent they aluminum calipers? do the iron ones need that spring? or is that what the counter weight is for? i ordered some like u said without the performance package today but they wont be arriving till wednesday. as for the combo valve is that on the rear where it splits? or is in the engine compartment near my MC?

Re: BW 9bolt rear pic needed!
ok i went to the junkyard today and found out what i am missing. unfortunately for me the part was already broken so it wouldd not do me anygood.
im in need of the spring that goes between the parking brake counterweight and the mounting hole plus whatever holds it down... im hoping force.
does anyone know where i could possibly buy a new set of these? i tried rock auto but im not sure what its called and i didnt see it on the listof stuff.
if anyone knows a place where i could get one new or used in working condition could you please point me to it? thanks - Aaron

Re: BW 9bolt rear pic needed!
The spring just sits between the lever and the bracket. Nothing holds it down. I have a bunch of those springs but I'm in the Netherlands so it'd be foolish to ship. I'm sure someone junked those junk calipers and has spares.
