Changing bleeder screws?

Transmission: 700R4 Automatic
Changing bleeder screws?

I just got some of the bleeder screws with the one-way check valves, and wonder about swapping the old ones out. Have to bleed and got no helper. Do you just change them or do you have to drain fluid?? A little help would be appreciated.

just change them, then bleed them.
