Hello new to f-bodies, trying to get my $650 Z28 fuctioning before complete rebuild. Looking for info on brake line sizes. I have heard that this has metric lines 6mm in rear? 4mm? front? If anyone knows this info, it would help save me some time. thanks

 

the line to the rear is 6mm. the small lines to the front wheels, and the lines on the axle are 4.75 mm. 1/4" is close to 6mm, but will not fit in the flare nuts the car curtrently has, so yolu would need to find new ones with a 1/4" ID, or drill them out carefully.

4.75 is close to 3/16 and will interchange.

 

Great, i appreciate it. My local McAutozone has the 6mm , and the 3/16 will work for the 4.75. The breaks on this are barely working, and the front of the res was completely empty when i bought this thing. I have always wanted one of these, (ta or z) and i want to get it fully functional before i decide how far i'm going to go with it. Thanks for the help again.
