Re: Brembo Bracket search Need help

Sorry I should have added that they are from a a 95-2000 ish lotus esprit. the bolts go through the top of the caliper not the side. I just don't know if it is a standard brembo bracket or if it is specific which is why I posted a pic of it. I am unable to locate one through lotus usa or any other part suppliers.

Thanks for any help on this>>>

Having one made would be a piece of cake. You could probably walk into a local machine shop and have them replicate it. Another option would be to model it in cad and have a cnc machine shop make them from the model. I can help with this if you like. You would need a way to take accurate measurements like a cheap digital caliper from Harbor Freight would be good enough. If you are interested I can let you know what dimensions I would need. Or if you aren't in a hurry, you can send one to me and I can copy it.

I did get a quote from a local machine shop but I thought the price was little out of hand. When you say copy would you mean make one for me from the one I have? If that is the case what kind of price are we talking?

I don't have a machine shop. I'm saying I could design the bracket and then you or I could have it made. If you didn't like the price from the machine shop I'm sure I can't do much better. One place to try would be emahcineshop.com

That does seem a bit high. I would have guessed around $150-200 for one.

No problem, I like doing this kind of stuff.
