I have what I assumed were the correct e break cables...they seem to be too long or they need to be routed a particular way?

are these the pbr calipers ? There are two different length tunnel-mounted adjuster, is 1434 mm. The second design is 1460 mm. This longer cable was designed for cars with no adjustment
