how to replace ebrake on 85' iroc??
my rear ebrake cable is snapped on the passenger side. i need to know how to replace the cables??? while im changing the one side, im just gonna change all of them if i can.... i did a search and read the srvc manual and chiltons/hanes but i just dont understand it... is this something a novice like me can do???

also, whats holds the wheel when the ebrake is applied? does it squeeze the brakes together or is it inner shoes and springs?? cuz i dont see anything insde the rotors... just the boot and spring about 6 inches long...

I'm going through something similar man:\ there's a part on mine that runs near the drive shaft and holds the 2 cables my cables aren't broken just the bracket that holds the cable I might just replace the whole thing. I'll keep you updated !
