Hey guys I am restoring my Camaro and want to run new fuel and brake lines. Has anyone bought lines from a company and had good success? I would like to replace every piece of metal piping on the car.
Also has anyone build their own by buying a roll from a parts store then installing fittings themselves?

I have done both and IMHO it is easier and not much more expensive to buy them for our cars. Had good luck here

I differ, I enjoyed making my own lines as it gave me complete freedom to route them exactly as I saw fit. I just used the steel (Not stainless) and I already had the flaring supplies. If you don not have the flaring equipment and benders then buying pre made would be cheaper and easier.Originally Posted by midias

For someone doing a restoration where correctness is more important than any other factor, I would buy pre-bent lines.
I don't have all the flaring tools so I guess I will just buy pre bent lines.... Has anyone found a fuel line complete kit the places I've looked have sections of fuel line but not a full set.
