I'm trying to figure out why my ebrake isn't working I'm jacking the car up anyways to put new tires and rims so I was jw is it located behind the rear left or right I looked on google and did a search here and can't seem to find it so anyone know?

There needs to be a little more info provided... Disc or drum car? The e-brake system is pretty simple. A cable runs to the axle and puts manual pressure on to the drum or rotor.
