different threads on brake lines for different years?
Ok, I have a bearing problem in my 86 trans am's rear end. I have a differential from a 92 RS that I can drop in, but before I do, I need to know something about the threads. They are both Borg warner 10 bolts BTW
I friend of mine who will be helping me says that they changed the brake lines threads sometime in the late 80's, so the brake lines in the 86 will not match up to the lines that are already connected to the rear end from the 92
For speed and simplicity, I'd like to just lift the 92 into place and use the lines already on it. Is that going to be possible, or do I need to remove the lines from the 86 rear and transplant the to the 92?

AFAIK they were the same (within the same type of system at least), from 84 up. 6mm bubble flare back there. 83-back are ¼" flare.
