Re: out of control on the detailing

off of ebay. just do a search on caliper decals. got a few different ones. From different vendors anywhere from $5 to approve$10 for set from 4 to12 decals ea...in the colores ya want.. even got a set to match the wilwood front calipers..but as this is not a wilwood caaliper...I chose to install the Camaro lettering. even though this PBR caliper is heavily modified on the front and shoulders to fit my old weld wheels drag lights.

All the ribs have been removed from the front and shoulder of the caliper in the caliper itself is glass smooth on the front rolls over. this provided spot to place a decal.this was done over 20 years ago..and as the wide open new weld wheels will show most of this off. I gotta say though I miss living in Las Vegas and having my buddy Donny manage SNAP. standing for Southern Nevada auto platers.. Has just to do the steel parts brackets handrails on the calipers Spokane metal finishing. is charging me $240...I was thinking hundred... hundred fifty...ouch.!

but with everything else that's getting done to the car. I want to put a wow factor into all the small stuff...

It also helps having a place called the ..house of hose. The place can make any..any hose/brake line or hose. (yes dot approved)
100% bolt on. I mention this. has the braided stainless steel brake hoses. it picked up the car fit nicely but I did not like the way the back hoses are set up. they wanted me to throw a loop into it example the factory hoses are 6 inces and 9 inches ea..so I had them make hoses exactly like the factory. the aftermarket hoses are like.12 inches each. but in the end I'll see which ones look the best when placed in the car..it's these little details that are getting out of control!

On a side note...who is going to SEMA this year.. The wife and I are going. hotel room airfare rental car everything is paid for. and SEMA notified us last week that the passes will be mailed out soon!

Thanks...
After going to new wheels you can see most of the caliper. And I didn't want to install wilwoods on the back... maybe next year..

Boy, living in the North American rain forest and you do this level of detailing. You're making me feel guilty and lazy.
Paint the diff cover to match the caliper color?

I know right....the only GM parts I did not buy were a full set flame red mats. By the time the car was only 3 years old. I went to GM to order the mats and they told me they were no longer available. But I had picked up window sweeps. Door seals window seals. Everything GM had available. So when I took the car out of mothballs. And started this Project it just got deeper and more involved.. To the point where hey I can take that off and get it plated

Back in the 90s the car looked like this under the
body..this shot is after sitting locked away for most of 10 years.. I built the car when it was new in 92... still under warranty everything came out. And all the aftermarket parts they had in the day or installed... I just wish I could have put more thought into it before I dove in..

More planning and this would be a 572 cubic inch big block.. Instead of a 427 small block...the cost was dollar for dollar the same.
And I probably would have went with will woods at all four corners..but hindsight 20/20.. and a duel stage 2 plate nitrous system with progressive controller is 150..200..lol
