lt1 master cylinder with my setup?

lt1 master cylinder with my setup?
Car has ls1 brakes at all 4 corners. I want to use the lt1 master, I like the looks of it better than the ls1 master. Any problems with this other than fittings?

I thought the fittings were the same? 12x1 mm and 11x1.5. My thought is your pedal stroke will become longer after the swap. you should have a 32mm/24mm dual stage master stock, going to the LT1 straight bore of 1 inch will require more stroke to fill and pressurize theoretically.

I've had both 3rd gen and 4th gen LS1 master cylinders. The feel is indistinguishable. Yes, the stock master cylinder has a 32 mm step in the bore, but the majority of the bore is still same as rear brakes (24 mm or 25 mm, whatever the number may be).

Other then the fittings not matching it will work. It will likely have a better feel then the stock quick take-up design. Then only other down side is that with the larger bore you will need to use more pedal pressure for the same stopping rate.

Re: lt1 master cylinder with my setup?
I thought if anything that the 3rd gen master is slightly larger bore. 1" (25.4 mm) plus the step, versus a 24 mm bore of the 4th gen style.
Again, my non-professional foot could not tell the difference.

Yes, it is a given that different brakes can produce a different brake pedal feel. That is neither here nor there for the OP.
