i have seen some talk about using front brakes from newer cars like vett or camaro can someone tell what will work on a 92 camaro that i can try find at a local pick n save thanks
There is more to it than just buying calipers and bolting them on.
The factory hub rotors have to be cut down, removing the rotor surface and creating a true hub.
Then the factory calipers ears on the spindle need to be cut off and 2 of the dust sheild holes need to be drilled and tapped
Then you need a bracket to bolt to the spindle that matches the dimensions needed to bolt on the new calipers
There are a few write ups.
The more common swaps are 98-02 f body and c5 and newer brakes.
There are plenty of other options too, but most you won't find in the wrecking yard.
