92 Z28 Clone

I have a 1992 camaro rs, originally a 305 tbi. Upgraded to a 350, 66,000 miles... Full exhaust, headers back, flowmaster. 17 inch iroc-z chrome rims. I just bought a new set of tires for my rims (800) dollars. I put the z28 high rise spoiler on it. 5% tint all the way around, a full sound system. Interior is in very, very good condition... Exterior is in really really good condition... I payed 7,000 for it last year, and now after all the mods im trying to get 6,000 OBO... I will be leniant on the price however... I need to get it sold...

The more recent pics are the ones with it having the spoiler and tint. The older pics are the ones without tint... Also, this weekend I am going to put on new tires that I just bought... I bought 4 Goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3 245 45 ZR17... If you look on tirerack.com the cheapest one in that size and that kind is 192.00 dollars each...
Heres a link to that tire http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Eagle+F1+GS-D3
A set of four would cost 768 dollars plus shipping... Thats beside the point I was just letting you know that you would be getting 4 new tires as well lol
----------
Oh and yes. the motor is a 350... I changed it myself, and I used the same injection system... It just was easier to do that way. I believe my 0-60 went from 9 seconds with my 305 tbi to about 6 after I installed the 350... So there was a BIG difference.

Thank you.

If you lived closer to St Louis I'd have my uncle come down and pick this car up right now. It's sharp

Re: 92 Z28 Clone

I meant clone as in... Well I guess your right, I just put z28 clone because within this next couple months I planned on redoing the whole car... Monday and Tuesday I am getting new leather seats put in, new headliner, and new carpet... Also within the next couple months I am getting a T56 6 speed transmission and an LS1 put in it, then will come my paint job... My parents are letting me take out a loan to do this, because I like many people my age don't have 6,000 dollars to spare lol, so this isn't just talk... It is going to happen... Also I have decided not to sell the car lol, it has TOO much of a future lol...

Re: 92 Z28 Clone

I already got written estimates for everything but the motor and tranny...
- New leather seats will cost me 600, I get them put in Monday and Tuesday.
- New headliner will cost me 90 and thats with the sail panels redone aswell.
- New carpet put in will cost me 250
- I will get all of the above done at an auto trim shop near my house.

- The paint job is being done by a friend that owns a professional body shop.
- He is going to charge me 300 dollars for a 1,300 dollar paint job. That is, if I do the body work myself. If I were to take my car to his shop, and have him do all the body work it would originally be 3,500 dollars, thats with the paint job as well... So getting a 3,500 dollar paint job for 300 bucks, if I do all the body work, isn't a bad investment after all...

- The motor and tranny is probably going to come from eBay, or a wrecked 98-2002 fbody lol... You can find LS1/T56 combos with all the necessary parts needed such as the harness and stuff for around 2,500-4,500 dollars, so I am going to have to say that I am going to need to take out a 5,740 dollar loan for everything, thats if I pay 4,500 for the motor and tranny, but I am pretty sure I can find it for cheaper... Oh BTW, lol I will be doing the motor swap myself, so no labor costs. But once I get all this done, we and everybody on thirdgen.org should organize an fbody meet. That would be pretty badass...
