in vegas. ran 10.41 on a 100 shot

for sale 1982 z 28
engine is dart block 408ci s.b. , lightweight gundrilled 4340 crank, 6" h-beams , srp +5cc forged pistons, 13.9 compression, comp cams solid roller 4/7 swap, offset lifters, pushrods, triple springs, ti. retainers, t&d shaft 1.6 rockers, dart pro1 230cc heads, super vic intake , 950 hp, nx plate system, hookers, 3" duel exhaust to spintechs.
th400 with hd sprag, red clutches, JW trans brake and nitrous converter, b&m shifter
moser 12 rear with posi and girdle, spohn adjustable poly arms , locater, frame conectors, tq. arm. qa1 single adj. rear shocks.
motor was freshed spring 2010. broke in on a dts engine dyno . pulled 639.2 @ 7200 hp and 529.5@ 5800 tq on motor. and 1 nitrous pull on a 150 shot did 852.6@ 6600 with 784.8 @ 5000 . we started the pulls at 5k.
the car has not been to the track sence then. motor as approx. 10 hours on it.
before the freshen up it pulled 591 hp, and 797 on the 150 shot . i run the car at firebird raceway in boise id. corrected elevation 6000' 90- 100* days runs 11.23@ 121 motor and 10.20@ 135 on the 150 shot.
it comes with the torq thrust 2 wheels 17x8 street tires, the centerlines 15x4 and 15x8 w/etstreets. and the original z28 wheels. i have the original fiberglass z28 hood, the glass ram air 2 hood and a iroc hood with a hole in it for the a.f . also have all the original 4 sp trans set up for it. all the non ac heater assy. and the front bumper support .
it is still running power steering and power brakes.
the car has always been very reliable and more consistant than the driver.

Oh wow. I myself own an 82' Z28. If I won the lottery tomorrow this would be the first thing I bought. Beautiful example of what a 3rd Gen Camaro can be. I really hope you find a buyer and that they appreciate this car, it's absolutely stunning.

BUMP for a NICE CAR!!! Mike (the car's owner) and I have been friends for a long time and I've known this car for many years. It is an EXCELLENT example of a well cared for 82 Z28. The car is rock solid and has about the best of everything on it. Someone really needs to pick this car up quickly!
