1987 iroc for sale 2800
1987 Iroc Z-28 Camaro, Medium Maui Blue. 97,645 miles on it will go up because weather is getting nice and i will drive it 305 motor, automatic, with t-tops (don't leak). New items include: interior, door panels, top of door panels carburetor, headers, true dual exhaust 3 inch, KYB struts and shocks, and HEI distributor. Recently had a fresh tune-up. Dash pad has one small crack in the right corner, windshield has a crack but comes with replacement windshield and extras. Extras are: set of rims, another Iroc steering wheel, shifter plate, set of front seat belts, 145 mph speedometer. Only rust on car is above the wheel wells.

so you ditch the tpi and went carb on it? if so, does it still have the wiring harness in it still, or is it hacked up?

Re: 1987 iroc for sale 2800
hmm never heard of irocs after 86 having the option of that engine.. i know z28s could get that engine in that year. in 85 and 86 when you got a 5 speed, you dont get to have the tpi. but after them years, it was suppose to be tpi on all irocs no matter what trans from what i understand...

Re: 1987 iroc for sale 2800
1987 was the last year for the carb engines. In 1987 the only carb motor you could get in the Z28 or the IROC was the LG4. The LG4 was available from 1982-1987.
In 1985 you could get the L69, LB9, or LG4. Although there were not as many L69 cars produced as there were in 1984.
In 1986 GM restricted the L69 engines. There were only 74 L69 engines produced for that model year. The LB9 (with the LG4 camshaft now) was available, as was the LG4 motor.
In 1987 the L69 engine was dropped all together. The LB9 version was available with two different camshafts. The LG4 was also available and this was its final year. This was also the year that the L98 was introduced.
From 1988 on up, all engines were fuel injected - the LO3, LB9, L98. Starting in 1988 the base engine was the throttle body injected LO3. The LO3 was also the base engine in the IROC from 1988-1989. Starting in 1990 the base engine became the LB9. The L98 was only available in the IROC's between 1987-1990.
In 1991 when they brought the Z28 back (after the IROC was dropped) you could pick from the LB9 or the L98. The RS was available with the V6 or the L03.

Re: 1987 iroc for sale 2800
No he wont, the car is worth what he is asking. Considering the extras, you are lowballing the crap out of him and other people on this sight. You have the money, everyone can read your other posts. Where is your integrity?
