Picture of the headers; Engine they are on is not for sale.

Other two pictures are of the engine bay. I'll take some more tomorrow for a better look.

Re: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z28 - $1500
I am interested. Could you please post some pics of the rear wheel fender areas as these are notorious for rust development. Please elaborate more on the condition of the body. Is here rust on the strut towers? How are the floor boards? Where in Northern Indiana are you?

Uploaded a video to Youtube so you could have a look at it a little bit better than just through pictures. I took some pictures as well, anyways.

The Goshen/Elkhart area.

Update: Put the dash and pieces of the dash back on, and have new Duralast Gold pads for the front brakes, which will be changed soon.

Re: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z28 - $1500
LOL, CMC... I want it!! DO you think it could be driven back?? Or if I was to purchase it, I should trailer it?? I have several third gen firebirds but never a camaro....Might be time for a change??? Plus, it seem that GM had given the underdog (the firebird) really little on options with performance until 1986... The whole time I had to put stuff into my firebirds because of the low grade parts... This whole time I could of been driving a camaro in which already had better everything...LOL

Re: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z28 - $1500
Damn it all, sorry for the late responses to you guys. We're in the Elkhart/Goshen area of Indiana, up north. Give or take a 3 hour drive from Indianapolis.

As for driving it, I don't see why not. I'd just keep an eye on the transmission fluid level as you're driving it. Haven't had any issues with it on long trips (Only 3 hours at a time, haven't done any longer than that). Trailering it might be better suited for you, though, since you're down in Kentucky.

I would seriously love this car. My daughter is looking for a third gen camaro for her vehicle. She's in the Fort Wayne area.

Well, it's getting to the point where I'm tired of trying to sell this Camaro. I'll be taking it in a few weeks to a local junkyard.

I would if I wasn't afraid of you changing your mind about it once I got it out there. Too much risk involved for only $1200. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who act "interested" only to offer me $400 and then get angry when I turn them down.

Does anything need to be done to it mechanically? Even small things like a tune up?

Re: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z28 - $1200
Make sure you read the first posts I made, along with watching the videos if you can. I state most everything in there.

Anyways, it only leaks transmission fluid. That's it. Everything else is fine, other than the normal wear and tear of a thirdgen. Plugs are fine. Oil was recently changed. Engine starts right away. Drives just fine. Could probably use tires. New driveshaft. Windows work. What else do you want to know?
