1984 Camaro Z28 LS3 T56 (Reduced Price)

SOLD

The Good:
Very clean, strong running, good looking car. Rust free (no winters). This engine is basically an LS3 except the L92 valves are solid and is also equipped with variable valve timing. I built this car to maximize economy and performance. The car is tuned on 87 octane fuel and can achieve 20+ mpg. On the dyno it produced 392 whp, 399 wtq. If desired, a tuner can easily re-tune the computer for higher octane fuel for additional HP and TQ. It's a very presentable car that you can drive while you make improvements as I have. I've owned the car for 8 years, and it has been my summer daily driver.

There is probably 90-100k miles on the car and 65k miles on the engine. Previous owner thought it had around 80k when I bought it. The engine was pulled from a vehicle reporting ~50k miles. Transmission came from car with ~80k miles. I've probably put 15k miles on the car since I owned it. I have no documentation for mileage.

The Bad:
-During heavy loading, the transmission needs to be held in second gear or it can disengage. I've driven it this way as long as I have owned it, and it has not been a problem as I don't abuse the car.
-Windshield wipers turn on but don't always turn off until the key is turned to off position
-Driver's side window guides should be replaced. Still rolls up and down but needs to be held rearward to roll up all the way.
-Air conditioner needs compressor installed
-Hatch struts are weak
-Tachometer is reading high
-material getting thin on driver's side bolsters

Re: 1984 Camaro Z28 LS3 T56

I would describe it as medium blue. Light metallic flake. I have some touch up paint with the mixture code as well. I'll get details for you if needed.
