'86-'92 Z28/IROC-Z...under $3,500

I'd like to find another fixer-upper for under $3,500.

Not wanting something that needs a ton of mechanical issues addressed, just wanting to fix the interior maybe, and give it a new paint job/body panels if need be.

I want an'86-'92 IROC-Z or Z28, NO RS's/Sport Coupes

If the car is a 305TPI, a 5spd would be preffered, but is NOT necessary.

I'd really like a convertible or a t top car, but I'll see what's out there I suppose.

Also, I do NOT want a 305carb, all offers MUST be a TPI car.

Hey i am selling my 1987 iroc. It is a lb9 car, but had a engine swap before i bought it, so now it has a 350. It is a tpi car with the 700r4 trans. The body has 110000 miles on it, and the engine has 40000 on it. It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, rear brakes, and front pads. The car is maroon with black interior. I just put a new interior in it out of another camaro, car use to have grey interior, and i have the whole other interior if wanted. Options the car has is pw,pdl, cruise, tilt, pwr seat, pwr rear with with auto dimmer, rear def,pwr hatch,140mph speedo,2:73 rear axle ratio, map light and pocket in center of roof. I put a flowmaster muffler on it, HID headlights but one got hit by a rock 2 weeks after installed, and also i have taillight blackouts. Car has a dent on the rr quarter, pass side door, and driverside fender. The only rust on the car is by the pintch rail where someone put it on a lift and it must have fell, must have happened before i bought it. The car runs great i have driven the car to and from North Carolina Around 6-8 times, because i went to school there, and i came home to Buffalo to visit and holidays except for christmas. I have never driven the car in snow. I am being tottally honest with everthing that i had stated, and i will try to answer any questions u have. I am asking $3500.00

Thanks, Brian. My email is bskidoomachz780@aol.com

I have a 91 Z28 with a rebuilt 305 TPI in it. As far as I know that engine has about 80000 miles on it and runs great. I drive it daily and have had to put a new starter, alternator, and battery in it. That is it. It does have new shocks in the back. It has factory gray leather seats as well as t-tops. Seats look and feel good. The front seats are a little worn with a few wrinkles but no tears or holes. The rear seats look and feel absolutely brand new. I painted the plastics in the car black to match the dash. The speaker covers in the back have been covered in red suede, as well as the kick panels in the front corners by the floor. It has gray carpet still-never got around to changing it to black and does not have a headliner-the old one was sagging. I was going to replace it with a black one. Everything works fins even the cold AC. Has new p255-50R 16’s in the back and the front tires are decent. There is a small dent that could probably be pulled out on the driver’s side between the door and wheels well. It’s not very noticeable when the car is cleaned up nice. For the most part the paint shines pretty well in most areas. The hood could use a new spray due to stone chips. Overall its a very solid car, doesn’t smoke on startup, doesn’t burn any oil or have any funny smells, it’s got a flowmaster 40 series muffler that sounds really good. Sturdy and solid car but needs very little TLC. Would make a perfect quick fixer upper to drive around. I'm selling it because I don’t have a nickel to put it and I don’t want to see it start to show. It's a real nice car. No rust at all. Never been in a winter as far as I know. I paid 3,800 for it and had put about 600 into it with tax, title fees, plate fee, and parts. All I want is close to what I have into it so I’m asking 4,000 obo. Let me know if you’re interested. Oh, I live near Saginaw, Michigan, and have lots of pictures, and can take some more pictures of anything you want to see also.
