Tuning was performed by a local tuner, using HP Tuners. He has over 3 years experience tuning GM cars. AIR/EGR have been deleted, and have been turned off in the tune as well. This car was recently dyno'd (May 28 2007) on a DynaPack 4000. The car made 372.6rwhp SAE corrected and 378rwtq SAE corrected and yes i have the dynograph

Needs
very little.. the rear window tint needs to be replaced.. Also the power steering rack needs to be replaced. It has a small leak, coming from the driver side, or you can just replace the seals inside the rack.

.. this car is AWESOME to drive and sounds down right MEAN. I have only had it back together since May 26 2007.. so everything is new.. when i had it stripped down to its short block.. you could still see the honing marks in the cylinder walls.. and the block checked out great on the compression test.

the pictures of the car on cardomain were taken 6/4/07 I have since only put 200 miles on the car since i have completed the engine mods. I can get a soud clip up later on today if someone was to hear it.

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

I have an 89 Iroc with a rebuilt 350(carb) 11:1 compression with dome pistons, mild cam( don't know the specs), holley carb, holley fuel pump, rebuilt rear end (10 bolt) with disc brakes, lowered 1", stock t-5 and a roll-cage
I also have a 92 RS also with a t-5, this one is almost bone stock besides exhaust and carburated instead of fuel injected.
I'm generally not a fan of the 4th gens but yours is a real nice/clean car, anyway i would make you an offer and your pic of my 89 iroc and/or 92 rs....only problem is that I have no money(which is why i'm selling my cars in the first place)
Still pretty new here so i couldn't figure out how to insert pictures, but if you're interested let me know and i'll e-mail them to you.

Once again, they're for sale, not really for trade

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

I havn't been trying to sell or trade my car but your car caught my eye... Here's my five speed 91' RS.

Basically it has all the Z28 options added to it that came in 91-92. I have left the origionality to the interior, it's black/grey. Only flaws i know of in the interior is that rip that every camaro gets on the driver seat and the seat buckle skin is cracked. Everything else in the interior is flawless. Power windows were added by me, hatch release button has not been installed. Fog light switch was installed and soon to be wired up.

The engine is sound as can be for its mileage... 158k miles and still havnt had one problem since i bought it January of 2006. Tranny just got a fresh stage 2 (forgot the name) clutch (including new slave cylinder), throwout bearing, and pilot bearing. Along with that I installed a fourth gen. posi rear end with 3.42 gears and rear disk brakes. There's absolutley no whine at all from it. Also installed a new e-brake cable setup. A new brake master cylinder came with the rest of that.

Everything on this car is spotless. It was repainted in around 96' (?) I believe due to the 91-92 paint defects the GM vehicles had. The paint on this car provides a very sharp reflection. I'vve always kept this car waxed/detailed (I work as a detailer at a local boat dealership). Engine compartment is as clean as the rest of the car.

My final thoughts on this car: It's a great car, it was my first car, I was the second owner. It's been babied it's whole life. Only thing this car is missing is some power (305 if I didnt mention above). I've been trying to build a motor but I'm new to engine crafting and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what I want to do with it. My father keeps telling me to keep this thing stock and dont get rid of it. A few months ago I gave up and tried to find a decent trade but no one really wants to meet my stated value for the car. If your interested just throw me a PM.

Holy crap I didn't realize you were way over in CA/Utah. Sorry lol.

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

very clean.. nice color.. nice upgrades.. dont worry about me being in UT and you in NC.. that part can always be arrainged...

what are you looking to get out of your car.. price wise.. ?

I take it, its a 305 TBI right? No worries.. i can convert that to 355 TPI like my last car..

do you have any pics of the engine and interior? you can post them or email them to me..

I am interested in it.. the part that remains is, what are you wanting for you car, + how much cash to get mine.. send me a PM if you dont want to post the particulars for everyone to see.
----------
forgot to ask.. how far are you away from Raleigh? I have a sister that lives there..

what kind of mileage do you get w/ the heads/cam/gears? how much straight up sale? dont suppose you would consider a trade for a gsr integra?

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

Well since I'm not in "need" of another car and I have nothing wrong with this one I'm pretty much trying to get around $7,500. I've invested about 9,500 not including the price I paid for it. And yes I did forget to mention it is a TBI. There's no rust on the car, most of the mileage is highway from the previous/first owner using it for traveling during his times in the Navy. I believe he said this car was stationed in Guam for a while too I believe. Other then traveling, the car has always been here in NC, it was also bought brand new from here. I'll have some pictures for you within the next hour or so. I'll give you some pictures of those two flaws I mentioned above. I also forgot to mention, it has a $1100 audio system (Kenwood Exceleron all the way around, 2 JL 12" W1V2 subwoofers in a custom enclosure. Which of course can come with or without. The only flaw you can see on the car on the exterior is one of the exhaust pipe's is bent over about an inch or so (its not parallel) but it's not very bad. I'll take a picture of that too. But I'm not sure how much I'd give you if I were to trade, what value are you looking at for your car?

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

i could see spending 6000 on a 350 TPI car.. but not 7500 on a 305 TBI.. i mean your car is clean.. dont get me wrong.. but i just dont see spending that much on it.. and you say you invested 9500 on it.. in 6 months... ok.. where? what did you get for 9500?? was the car in horrible condition before?

I bought my last thirdgen (92 RS TBI 5 speed) New paint, good interior, 97k on the clock.. everything worked great, for $3500.. granted everything was stock..

I converted it to a 355 TPI, then added an aftermarket 6 speed, 4thgen rear end, suspension parts, 4thgen leather seats, 17x9.5 ZR1 wheels, ect ect.. and only got 6,000 for it.. so.. if thats your price.. then i must pass...

Re: Want to trade? come in side...

Well like I said, I don't have a need to get rid of this car, and that is just what I was trying to get, I didn't mean that in terms with you. That's why I asked how much your wanting for you car? Plus it wasnt spent over six months, I bought this car in January 2006, which is a year and six months. All that money is basically everything you see on the car, the rear end, the tranny work, the wonderbar, the money spent restoring the paint, the wheels, the audio system, the fog lights, the switchs, the wiring, the tint, the paint job on that brand new hood sitting on there with the power blister, the power blisters them self, exhaust work, the viper alarm system, need I go on? If you'd like me to go into the backroom and dig out my paper with all the costs on it I will do so and list everything... Anyways... Here's some pics I just took for you. And as I said before I'm not looking to get 7.5k, thats what i was trying to get, I wanna hear what you have to offer for a trade + cash (me paying cash with trade).
