I have an 85 Z28 T-top that has some major rust issues. I'm trying to find a donor body, prefer T-top, doesn't have to be a Z28. I can deal with minor body damage and surface rust. My main concern is that it needs to be structurally solid. If anyone has one or knows of one similar I would appreciate it. Thanks all.

 

I have an 85 Z28 T-Top car that has a few body dents and surface rust. To the best of my knowledge there are no parts rusted thru. It has a 305 that ran the last time I started it (4 yrs ago). No trans, 3 iroc wheels, and a few parts taken off the interior. The hood could stand to be replaced, but I might be able to round one up. Asking $300 if you come and pick it up. I just put together an 89 rs with t-tops that has an awsome body! The motor that I put in though is really more for the drag strip. The rear end is posi and currently has 4:10 gears but I have the original 3:23 gears to go with. I have currently only pulled a few holeshots in the parking lot at work with it. The exhaust isn't finished yet. But it has ceramic coated shorty headers for the car and some very large aluminized pipe to a flow tech muffler. Has a great 350th with a big stall and shift kit. I am just going to sell this car. Asking $2500.00 or best offer. so far best offer is $2000.00 but no cash yet so make me an offer. phone # 616-788-7989. Dude, I've got your T-top doner, probably 20 mins from you. It's a blue 91 RS. Surface rust under the weather stripping, but structurally great. Could cut it at the A and B pillars, and you could have it for 50 bucks.

Or we could talk if you want to buy the whole roller. maybe 150.

It was a V6 automatic. It's got the full rear end, and the full front suspension/steering except for the steering column itself. I have an extra one, which can be used to move it.

I also have an extra quarter panel, and front bumper assembly, some of which might be sold soon.

Have the hatch if you're interested.

Also, there's a tub of bolts and pieces.

As you can see, the Ttop has some rust. There's only one other section that is worse that this one, the other side, but the middles and backs are better.

 

I like the looks of it, but I want to see it in person as long as you don't mind.
