I'M BACK!!!!

I am going to keep this short.

Things in life changed. Some for the better and some for the worse! I sold my Camaro just a couple years ago. Here are pictures of it for those on this site to remember....

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cama...s-norfolk.html

I was told that selling that car would lead to issues. Later was then asked to choose between that car and my Harley. I chose the Harley! Now the person that was asking the questions is not part of the equation.

FIND ME A THIRD GEN CAMARO!!!!
I do not want a fully restored car. I am not really interested in another TBI, but will not turn down a deal. I know what to look for in these cars. A 350TPI is my first choice. The 91 and 92 Z28 catch my eye. Must be a T-Top or Convertible.

I cannot promise I will buy based on what I receive. As you can see from the one I had.

Thanks for the offer. That is a bit steep for a V6 RS. I sold mine 18 months ago for $3k. The only work it needed was in the interior. Good luck.

Again... Thanks!

Re: I'M BACK!!!!

Finding the right one has been difficult. I have some background with the 3rd generation so I kind of know what I am buying.

I came across a nice 89 IROC with 90% of its restoration complete. It was beautiful. Dude described it and I was ready... $8000... Something had me look through all my notes one more time before pickup.

The VIN number looked a little different in two of the pictures. It was the same but kind of looked off. I went to look at the care one more time without him knowing it......

BUSTED!!!!
The VIN plate had been changed! It was not an IROC. It was a RS with all the IROC badges. The pictures of the VIN were from his other IROC in the driveway. This was a restored RS with a SALVAGE title!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway..I am still looking

Re: I'M BACK!!!!

Almost a year later and still in the hunt. I have had some interesting offers as well as some interesting cars to choose from. I can say that I will never go based of just pictures.

I really love that the pictures posted on some are of the car being sold, just 2 years prior. I love how they are said to have new paint and Krylon does not count. Please do not post pics of the Z28 and it be an RS. That VIN and RPO codes prove a lot of things.

Finally, how dare you tell me you have a 25th Anniversary Z28 with the 1LE package and convince me to look at it only to be caught lying. Why would you remove the 350 TPI and put in a V6? They tell me the car only has 30,000 miles on it. You also tell me the TPI motor is in storage. Really???

Anyway, still in the hunt. Let me know what you have.
