Hey everyone. I'm the new guy here from Canada eh!. My name is rob and I just picked up a 87. I'm kinda coming from the dark side (Honda) and will surely be asking a lot of questions in the coming months as I start work on my new car. The car has what I believe to be a 305 in it right now. Come spring tho it will be receiving the 350 my dad has for me. I'm not a noob by any means but kinda new to the concept of having more than 4 cylinders under my hood. And so far aside from gas prices, I love it. So I look forward to hopefully talking to u all and gaining the knowledge to make the beast in my head a reality. Cheers!

Welcome powerdreams. I'm in the South East corner of Scarborough. I have a recently acquired 3rd generation Camaro too. I keep it at a friend's place North of Whitby 'til I get it on the road next Spring hopefully.

I hope u see u around. However I highly doubt I'll b driving my car for 2 years. I'm completely stripping the whole body to bare metal and repairing any areas that need it, sealing the whole car inside and out. Then paint and reassembly with as many new parts as I can. So it will b a while.

 

Sounds like a serious project. Should be excellent when you are done. What part of Toronto are you?
