The Kove KEW's are a good hitting sub! I have just one of the 12's in my car and it drowns out everything including the little annoying mustangs. They handle lows really good too. I have a freind that had two KEW 15's in the extended cab of his S-10 and you could here him long before you could see him.

I know what alot of you are gunna say but I dont care.....for the money I suggest MTX. I have a 15" MTX thunder 3000 in a sealed box powered by a rockford 360a2 with the gain up about half way, and it SLAMS. I couldnt believe it once I hooked up the rockford how loud it was. For the 50 bucks it costs, and the money to build the box there is no better. The box doesnt look very good cuz I havent had a chance to carpet it yet, but let me tell ya its solid and its sealed. Theres probably about 5 pounds of culk on that bad boy.

Kicker comp vr's would be an excellent choice. I had a hard time deciding between them and my alpine type r's. Other excellent choices would be: IDQ's, W3's, and if you have the money: IDMAX, W7's. I really like my type r's though. They don't need a lot of air space and they slamm off from the 250 watts rms that I'm giving them.
