As you can tell from my other post the original amp started smoking. What should I get now to power the 10" 150watt RMS Cerwin vegas?

 

if you have two, try the jbl 300.1 its class d, its inexpensive, and it puts out nicely

 

RF Punch or Power Punch.. they can definitely put out the power for that sub.. you wont be disappointed

Go with Rockford... I got 2 rockfords a punch 500 and punch 800 and older model... 2000 i believe. They kick ***

Memphis are quite possibly the best amps out there. I can't think of another company that comes close to their quality of their products and customer service. Yes, I sell them. Rockford are not as good as people make them out to be. The high price of Memphis amps (about $2.33/watt in a class D) make them not so popular but over a dozen of them were in the IASCA SPL finals.

Forgot to add...DO NOT BUY MEMPHIS ON THE 'NET!!! Internet sales of unopened, new Memphis products void all warenties and Memphis can ban the sellers licance to carry their products if they do this.

 

i like mephis..never ran em in my car... but heard good things about them...but i'll stick with my kicker amps

I've run three of these for the last 4 years and never had a problem. Good quality amp for the money.
