OK? why is my 1000w amp sound like a 200 watter

i have 3 rock for hx2's (1) 2ohm and the other (2) 4ohm all hx2's wirer'd in a 2 ohm load and i have
(2) Infinity digital beta 300 amp's 2ohm load to each chl (500 rms) to each sub.
Sealed sub box was built by me and it has the right -
Recommended volume (Cubic Feet) - 0.75 and a little more then...
so any way i hook't it up and its loud" just not that loud... it sounds like 200 watt's why i dont relly no so thats why im posting this

also
i have a New $329.00 kenwood cd player
i have the bass all the way up and ever thing you can think of is up and i have check all the wireing over and over "is it the amp's??
cuz no one pays (for 1 amp) $699.00 for chrap!?!?"

1 sub is a 2 ohm sub and the other two are 4 ohm subs?

Your 2 ohm sub is getting the same amount of power as the other two subs combined. That's part of your problem. Get 3 identical subs, and double check that they aren't wired out of phase. I'd suggest 3 DVC subs, 2 ohms per coil. That will allow you to series-wire the two coils on each sub, then parallel-wire the three subs for a combined impedance of 4 ohms.

If one is a dual 2-ohm sub, and the other two are dual 4-ohm subs, then you don't have equal power going to all of the subs, which is a big part of your problem. You should always be running IDENTICAL subs. I'd replace the dual 2-ohm sub with another dual 4-ohm and wire it properly.

I can only imagine how you've got that thing wired. If you've got the coils on the subs series-wired, then all 3 subs parallel wired, you're going to have a 2 ohm load, but because that 1 sub is getting 50% of the power, your output is going to be limited.

If you have all the coils series-wired, and the subs series-wired, then you'd have a 20 ohm load, which would explain your lack of power.

Either way... you need 3 identical subs.

In that case my guess is still that one of the 3 subs is out of phase with the other two, or that some of the coils are out of phase with others. You still haven't given me a clue how it's wired, but you should double-check that the coils of each sub aren't out of phase with each other, then you can disconnect 1 sub at a time and see what happens. If it gets louder, the subs are out of phase with each other.

No problem. Glad you got it straightened out. What exactly did you do tho? You have me a little lost. Did you change your crossover frequency or just adjust your bass boost?

Did you mean between 20 Hz - 80 Hz? Just wondering because 20k - 80k is really high-pitched. Glad you figured it out though. Looks like you've got a good clean install there. I like it.

Red wires on right of pic #3 -

Please don't tell me these (what looks to be) 3 tiny little wires
are your power wires.. If so, you really should get 1 MUCH bigger
wire. Such as like 1/0Gauge or 2Gauge..Just a thought-

1: can you try saying this a little more intelligently? because i can't
understand wtf this is supposed to mean. also, you don't have
to be an a$$ about it. "big deal i know what im doing"

2: 40amp wires? do you know what you're talking about?

3: lots of small wires won't do the same as one large wire.
