Replacement subs

Where can I find replacement subwoofers for the UQ7 stereo systen I have in my GTA? I believe they are 4 1/2". I don"t think they are fives. I know I could not find that size in the crutchfeild catalog. I quess 14 years of age have caught up with them.
Thanks
Tony

Hey.. Ehh, you're kidding right? 4½" subs??

Dude they don't exist!

I think the SMALLEST subs you can get, is 8", but no 4½".. 6" and below are most definitely not subwoofers..
As a matter of fact, i have never seen any subs below 10".
Later man

i believe the factory subs are 5.25".. your best bet is going to be to find a 5.25" component woofer at an audio shop or something.. you know, the kind of stuff you buy when you're assembling your own speakers.. dont know how well it will work, but then again.. cant imagine how well the stock one works either

Thanks guys, I guess it would help if I new their frequency response as well. Maybe I can special order through radio shack or something. Possible surf the web for some odd audio sites. I replaced these a couple of years ago with used, However they did not last do to the age factor I guess. Thanks for the insight.

I'd try some MBQuart's I've used a set of 6.5 inch as "mid-basses" before and they worked great! (rear fill) they played ALOT lower than I had expected them to, so I left them crossed over at about 75 HZ... here is a link:

and the separates:

Hope this helps, they do sell the in just single components so that should help some! GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the info, I may have found something that will work. Would anybody happen to have the specs on that system? What ohm were those 5 1/4s, and what was the frequency reponse on them?
