I fried my pos and need something new and loud!

 

I've never heard a good bandpass system. so don't worry about it, it'll sound like crap no matter what in my opinion. I like sealed and ported ALOT better. ported still gets distorted but it can sound clean when need be

 

what kind of price range?

for an extra like 50 bucks you can get an adire brahma!

 

u shouldnt get a bandpass for your car. use the rear window. get a custom box to fit the hole in the trunk and put a couple of 12s in there.

you'll get as good or better bass responce for far less.

ive got two kicker comp vr's and hit 138 db with a cheap, crappy amp.

The boss 455 300x2 or 600x1 going to two cerwin vega hed10s in a triagle truck box really sucked and was disappointing. I fried it because the two wires that go into the back of the cone touched together and took the whole system came down. Well one cerwin survived. It didnt have that much bass to it. It wasnt that loud. Didnt shake the mirror all that much. This is why I think a band pass would get me what I need. One of my freinds bought a single 12" band pass with a jensen in it. Now I though Cerwin would be better. But his cheap **** was louder. Whats with that.

go with JL i've got 3 10'' W3's and they're some of the hardest hitting and accurate subs i've heard
