4X6 Speakers

I'm looking around for some 4X6 speakers to replace the front ones in my 88. Anyone know of a good brand at a good price or have any for sale? Thanks!

I would save your money and buy kick panels and put some nice 5 1/4's in them.

I have Polks in my 82 TA, but Inifinity also makes a great 4x6. The Polks dropped right in, and sound great.

I love the Infiniy's I've got, can't think of anything I'd rather have up there. Got um on sale at Circut City for $100. Definitley worth it.

The above statement couldnt be more true.
I had 4x6's upfront and they just dont sound right. All u get are highs (these highs are not even correctly coming to your ears), if u try getting any bass out of them they will distort. And when u get subs - the sound will be kinda unbalanced.
Again save your money. Get some kickpanels or doorpanels and get a component set. Trust me - it will sound way better!!!
In the long run it will just cost you more when u ditch the 4x6's.
Take care and goodluck with your choice.
Jay
