double din??

double din??

hey does anyone have full size devices in the radio spot?
if so whats involved making it work....
pics would be nice if theres anything else someone has put in there would be nice to...im just tired of looking the a single din radio with big ugly plastic surrounding it

There's room for a 1.5 DIN unit, but not 2. You can find these size units here and there, but what you could also do is get a faceplate adapter to hold a 1 DIN headunit and a 1/2 DIN EQ below it. Pep Boys should carry them, as well as other places like The Wiz, etc.

i had seena couple years ago some camaro guy had managed to fit 2 DIN units in his console. required limited fabrication and moving the heater/ac controls up a bit. dont remember the page, but it came out pretty good.

i run and swear by pioneer din and a half it has a nice look in the f bodies you can make any thing fit anywhere it depends on how much work you want to do
