I was wondering if any one could help. My Eclipse CD player keeps skipping because my bass is extremely loud, i have hit 140.6 db's with my subs. I don't want to buy a new cd player and was wondering what i could do help it from skipping when i play it loud.

 

eclipse?? that **** shouldnt skip.....what model is it? i had the 5303 , fold down face unit in my camaro, got robbed for it though, ...along with my 4 12's and 2 500 dollar OLD rockford 225.2 amps along with the mathcing eclipse 300 dollar eq....400 cds as well....bad day, ...anyways, ....make sure the cd player is in tight, ....try bracing the bottom of it with some foam or styrofoam, ..hell even wood or cardboard lol
