May the best box win.

I was wanting to put in a speaker box for my two kicker 10's. I would like to know just what type of box or perhaps where to order the box that would offer the biggest bang. Thanks.

I would VERY HIGHLY recommend VT ( Virtual Technologies ) boxes. Proclaimed over and over as " The Best of Boxes ". Just my .02.

All I know is I had a custom box built by my friend and it works just as great or even better than some of the store bought boxes. Even fits perfectly.

If you have access to a good workshop you should try undertaking a little "box building" project. Pretty fun and way cheaper than buying a box.

And if you suck it all, all you lost was about 15 bucks.

-edit-
Well that 15 bucks thing is considering you have all the tools you need to make it already... should've mentioned that.

Try REZN8R, or there is another dude on here (his name skipped my mind) that actually threw his box off the roof of his house 2 or 3 times to show how sturdy they were, you could try his too.

No offense, but I'd rather see a box tested with an SPL meter than a 8 foot fall into someone's yard.

its was actually closer to 12 feet, but ya know . i would test it with a meter but i dont have one and that doesnt really say much when you dont have anything else to compare it with. the drop was to show how durable it was not really to show anything to do with loudness.

however, being durable does correlate with effecientcy in one aspect or another.

by the way, does anyone have an meter in the area that i can test it with?

and i agree, we shouldnt fight. we should just have our opinions. power to the people
