Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1

Hey, Have you guys heard of these before? I think they are suppose to be pretty good. Do you think one of them would be loud enought to impress so people? I dont want to spend a whole lot but I want my system to be pretty loud. I got a rockford 300s to power it. Whacha think? THANX!

i second that. the only downside to them is that they dont handle a whole lot of power--but you'll get great SQ out of them, and they still pack a punch.

one 12 may be nice, but for me and my friends its not enough... unless its a 12w7. other than those really expensive subs, i say go with two 12 infinities.. thats what i got :-}

if you listen to a lot of rap then this sub isn't for you. if you're into sq music and stuff, then a single perfect 12 will be perfect for you.

i have not heard one, but i was planning on getting one 12, but be carful. i have reead reviews that there were two batches made and the 2nd batch has a problem with the tinsel leading burning up or something. thye are supposed to be great SQ subs and people hav said that they get quite loud. its all in the install. anyways, check them out here

I'm not entirely sure about the dual 12" route. A single twelve will allow you to go with a slightly larger box, which will give you better bass response, which, as far as I've heard, is one of the Perfect 12's strong points. My box is about 1.6 cubes, and sits in the well below the power latch pulldown, something to consider if the obtrusiveness of your install is a factor (not to mention the fact that the sub is all but invisible from the outside of the car). BTW, my single 12 is as loud as two, but that is more of a credit to the box, which I did not build (a friend of mine did.)
