Audiobahn, BLAH!!!!!!! Sorry, had to post that. In the 6 months that I sold Audiobahns, 50% came back blown up. Big price for some chrome and a crappy speaker/amp. Here are some pics of the setup I built for my car that obveously clear my straps...
enjoy.

Well, your particular model there is decent. I am not a fan of those subs, but as long as you dont crank the amp to anything more than 3/4 gain, they dont have thermal problems. The fan on those amps are a joke. There is an exhaust fan, but no source of intake for cooler air to pull. I actually worked for the brother of the owner of Audiobahn (arabic owned, not german contrary to popular belief) But, as long as you are happy, thats all that matters. I personally only have one 10" sub DVC with 600watts at 2ohm creating 145db at my last competition. Doesnt need to take up much room to create great sound. I am now working on a removable injection molded enclosure for the spare tire well so the entire system is stealth.

My first amp rack i built in my seats was similar to that. I had it all flushed in with the seat. However, when one of my amps proved to be defective, I was really upset to realize i had to remove the seat to remove the amp. If you look back at my pic, you'll see the grey bezel, well, removing that makes taking out an amp or adjusting a breze. Live and learn. The whole setup took me about 3 hours to make. Including the rebuilding of the seat for the bezel. Ive been offered up to $300 for the seat WITHOUT the amps. I considered making these to sell, but its impossible without having the amps for fitting. One thing I did do for when I go racing at the strip, All wiring and RCA connections are made via Mulex plug under the side panel, the power connections simply use distribution block. So when I want to go racing, undo the 2 bolts on the seat and uplug the plug. All ready to race...

I'm saving money to get this audiobahn amp...A1300HCQ to power 1 (for now) Alpine Type-R. I choose this amp for 2 reasons 1)I have heard Audiobahn is very reliable and powerful, and 2) it looks badass. I am getting it for $359 from Ikesound.com, unless someone can tell me a cheaper place.
(1) hahah (2) yup.. it looks pretty cool.. but.. i buy amps for performance, not looks.. id never be caught dead with an audiobahn amp.. but if you like it, its your car, not mine.. i do have to say tho, its a wicked looking amp

This is the first thread that I have heard anyone bad mouth Audiobahn. I might just have to stick with getting a Memphis 1000D...that was my second choice. Either that, or a JBL 1200.1

Audiobahns are in the same league with PowerAcustik. For anyone that knows anything about stereo equipment or has a shop knows thats a not a good thing. If only audiobahn put the same effort into their performance as they do chrome/flames/neon they would be decent amps. Some people actually mistake that voltage meter for an internal cap, some funny $hit i think.

This box should work for if you have a T-tops bag. It will hold 2 12" subs (mine will have 2 Type-Rs after I get a new amp) and the amp can be mounted out of the way of the bag.

MEMPHIS ALL THE WAY!!!!! Not only is it one hell of an amp, but its small and I love the polished alum case. I sold audiobahn and memphis side by side and there was no comparison. Memphis 1000d is the best way to go. I have pushed those things as hard as they can for an hour at a time and could never get them to shut down. I built a 15k system for a guys Escalade at work and we used 4 15's with a M1000d to each. He came back a week later with a busted rear hatch window! Here is what my system consisits of Kenwood KCD-MP919. Memphis Studio 4x6. Memphis Stuido 6x9 3ways, Memphis HP Comp sub (10' was dbd at 145 at the only comp i even partiook in) Took 2nd place, and was the only single 10" was only beaten by 2 12" memphis) Crossfire CFA-1000d, Crossfire CFA-324ab. If anyone is like "well, if memphis is so "bomb" why dont you gots one? Well, for all you braniacs, Memphis makes Crossfire!
