i'd go with the JL's if ur just gunna choose between them and the RF's but you might wanna consider kicker comvr's too....all are good subs but the kicker's will probably be the best bang for the buck.

id have to say the jl's just because i dislike rf, but thats my opinion, even beside the fact that jl w0's are a great beginner sub.

why on earth are you going to put 3 low-powered subs in your car? have you thought about putting the same amount of money into a single sub, like an idmax or a brahma, or maybe even a jl W7?

cause 3 $50 subs are going to be cheaper than 1 $500 W7. Plus, with a higher end sub, you have to give it more power (i.e. larger budget amp), build a stronger box, and plus...3 just looks cooler than 1.

neither do i mudaholic, i have only 1 10" in my car, but to many people, having a cool looking system is just as, if not more, important than how it sounds.

that is so gay, you put a system in you car to have it sound good, not to impress people, but if he wants 10w0s i say go a head, the use like no airspace..... .5 to .9 each.

I would pick the JL's out of those two, but I wouldn't put either in my car. Lower priced rockford subs sound terrible though, they don't hit for chit. Go with the JL's, and at least you wont be wasting your money.

I have one 12 inch Kicker L7. That is plenty I assure you. Keep in mind, your 3rd gen is all open cabin, not in the back of some *****. Sometimes when I turn off the stereo and exit the vehicle, the my ear hairs are still tingling, and my head still hurts. Trust me, one 12 is bangin.
