trunk box 4 sale

I sold my car so I need to sell the parts. Up for sale is a 6 month old speaker box that fits in the indention of the trunk. This speaker box actually fills in the entire lower trunk unlike most that only sink 12". It holds 2 12" subs. It was built by Marlow Stereo. I paid 220. It is in perfect condition. Carpeted and sealed very well. Selling for 150. The Z28 emblem is NOT glued. I'm also selling the subwoofers. (2) 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch. 8 ohm impedence. Only had 100 watts put through them. Never abused. Work perfectly. These are better version of Punch amps not sold at wholesalers like Best Buy. These were through a Stereo shop that feature heavier magnets. I paid $250. I'll sell for $100 plus shipping.

Total...box and subs...250 plus shipping. It is a good deal, trust me.
Who told me they were heavier magnets... 3 people. One... Marlow stereo, a person that worked at Best Buy that knows they sell the junkier version of things... RF/Yamaha, so on so forth, and myself, my friend got 2 subs from Best Buy, so I pulled mine out, we both held them in comparison, mine were undoubtably heavier. We both easily agreed.

I only paid $80 for my sub box and it looks exactly like that one.

Good for you. Every box with carpet looks just like that one. I can make one out of cardboard, carpet it, and it'll look the same.

My point is, looks can be deceiving. A custom made box that a shop made is almost always 3/4" MDF that's been built and assembled properly. A pre-fabbed box isn't usually as well built and quite often uses cheaper materials.

He paid $220 to have that box built, which is a fair price for a custom made thirdgen enclosure. Mine cost even more than that, although mine are a more complex design. Buying his box used for $150 is a good price.
