Eninge noise through AMPS HELP!!!

I put my new install kit in today i ripped out the 8 Guage and put in 4 Guage. Well after i was all done i still have the same enigne nosie i had before any ideas how to cure this i think it might be comming from my MSD 6AL my CB also makes the same noise my stereo is makeing the cb has been makeing the nose since i purchased it. Is there any way to get rid of the noise? I have both amps grounded to were the big bolt that holds the rear seatbelt in. Its a Shoulder belt and the grounds are only 2 feet long for 1 amp and 1 foot for the second amp. I hope i gave u all the information to help me.

Get a noise filter and hook it up to the MSD box. Get it as close to thebox as possible. I had to do this with mine and it got all the noise out. MSD makes one but I just got the biggest one they had at radio shack and used it.

keep your ground wire under 18 inches if possible.. it helps.

don't run your ground and power along side eachother.

don't run your speakers and power wires next to eachother. Crossing on a 90 degree angle is ok.

Is the place where your ground wire is connected bare metal or painted? You may wanna sand it down if its painted to get a better ground "connection".

The main thing that causes noise in your system is running
your RCA's and power wires together. Make sure you run them
on opposite sides of the car. Hope it helps...
