New to Audio. have a few ?'s about amps in a 97 Grand Prix GT and a 89 Firebird
First off my friend is thinking about getting an amp in his 97 GP GT just for his 2 rear speakers for a little boost. As of right now hes running the stock CD head unit and front speakers with Infinity 6x9's out back, which are rated at 300W Max. What kind of amp would you suggest ? Also I was looking at an installation kit. Which wire would I be better off getting. 10 , 8 , or 4 Guage?
Other question concerns my Firebird. I'm running a pioneer head unit 45x4 , 4x6 Boston Acoustics 80W max up front and Kenwood 6x9's 170W Max out back. What kind of amp would you recommend for me and my friend? Thanks

Kicker KX150.2 would be a great amp. And it is only $150. 75X2rms @ 2 ohm. 8 guage wire would be more than fine if you are not running alot of watts for rear speakers.
