Component speakers in rear seats.

Hello, All. I want to mount a pair of component speakers IN each of the rear seat backs of a 1991 RS. Anyone ever tried this or know of a site with pictures and how tos? Thanks.

I wouldn't think this would work well at all. You need a certain amount of space for a speaker to sound right and since the seat is made of foam (bottom) and filled with padding and things (back) I don't think it would be a great place for speakers, maybe something like a 1" tweeter if you could make a hollow cavity but not for anything bigger I wouldn't think.

not a good idea. the inside of the seat is foam and plastic. neither a good mounting surface. horrible for imaging not to mention an insane amount of customizing to make it look good. if you want comps in the back, make a plate/board/etc to fill the 6x9 spot instead. i doubt you're gonna get many positive responses to this. glad you're being creative, but there are reasons why some ideas dont get done...
