Here is a pic of my sub box in my car. you could search on this site, or go to a search engine like www.google.com and search for "How to build a speaker box" or "Tips on building a speaker box" That would probably be the easiest way

I like showing off my box cuz nobody that I know of has the same design. It has room for 2 12" Type Rs, but it is just a tad small for them. It sounds great with the one and I'll try adding a second one, if it dont sound good I'll redo the front and sell it as a single sub box and rebuild it to fit the 2 12's correctly.
The box in the well..."Wheres the sub?!!" is a question I get alot...

"oh, there it is..." is the response when I show them

here is one side, the other side is identical (dur, lol)

And, last but not least, plans

Wires are nice and hidden, the amp sits nicely on top (although it is soon to be replaced with a JBL 1200.1) and yes, a second Alpine Type-R 12' will fit next to the one that is in there.

box a little too small?
If you think that your box is a little small for your sub or subs, try using a polyfill. This is available through crutchfield or any car stereo supply dealer. It is basically a cotton batting that tricks your subs into thinking that they are in a bigger enclosure than they really are. I used this is a fiberglass box I did in a Honda Del Sol for 3 10" in the back cargo area and what a difference it made. The subs hit louder, harder and cleaner than without the polyfill.

Polyfill aka pillow stuffing
. I did it in my old box and it works as well as polyfill. and its cheaper too. I was going to do that as well, just forgot to mention it.
