Doesn't every body know bill? You know Burnouts4ever.
Those subs are Alpine Type R's, you know the 12 inch ones.

I didn't realize the Type Rs had such a nice looking basket.

Anyway... I like the box design. I'm considering buying a pair of Brahmas, and I think their dust caps look retarded so I've been thinking of ways to invert them. Your box design might not be a bad starting point.

subs look good. wouldnt say the same for the box.

point of turning the subs like that would be to allow for more box volume since the subs would not be taking up the room. also for looks if you like the style. i personally like the style but to an extent. some setup looks good some dont.

Good luck trying to fit that huge magnet assembly INSIDE a box of that shape. Plus, a lot of the new subs have absolutely beautiful basket assemblies, so why not show them off? That's sure a lot more to look at than a couple totally plain cones.

I like mounting the magnet out of the box. Especially if the magnet looks good. Most people don't do it this way. Thats probably the main reason for the box I designed.

All you have to remember is to reverse the conections. You have to do it reverse pole. I was told that by the sales person at my local audio shop.

I WANT an inverted subwoofer setup for my box, and the box is already designed. I just cant find any SPEAKERS that i think sound good that i like the basket of. I love the way the Focal's look with the slim wide magnet (or cover, whichever it is), and i wanted a w7 for the sound aspect, but its friggin huge.

ITs REALLY a bitch because i get Bostons at 66% off, but their baskets look goofy to me. I just bought a 12.5LF for Christmas, and i love the sub, but im not in love with the bottom end, aesthetically.
