gotta question...

if i buy my friend's factory cd player and disc changer. how hard will it be to install. his car is a 98' Z28. i know it will take a little custom wiring but it shouldnt be too bad should it?

the wiring should be fairly easy then again on the CD player, i've installed like 5, but i've never installed a changer before...just look stuff up on like install.com, or other online places and you could probably find how to do it

the wiring is easy, just use Metra part #'s 71-1858 to plug into 98 deck and 70-1677-1 to plug into the car wiring harness, color match the wires and plug in. you will also need an antenna adapter as the 98 has a smaller "GM" style plug, use Metra part # gm20. now for the hard part... the mounting holes on the 98 radio will not line up with the mounting holes in your car, if possible, just use self-tapping screws to go through the plastic where the holes in the new deck sit. make sure that you got the 9 pin slave cd wire that plugs into the deck and changer... if you did, run the wirre to your mounting location and plug in... have fun
