i love mine. the only things is that u need a decent amp to have them perform well. i had my sony hooked up to it and it pounded and that was just one sub. then i put in a cheap pyramid i got free and it still pounds just not as good. very good sub i would say. i got a deal on mine though that i couldnt pass up, 80 for the pair brand new. minus warrantee but who needs that right?
i have two 10 in. type r's powerd by a fosgate bd500.1 and it hits very hard in a sealed box even. i dint have a cap in my car so when i cranked it up it my car would drop about 5 volts it was very loud. but any way if your looking for motivation how about i sell you my sub and amp for $500 or 600 with the box thats a little under half of what i paid for every thing.

Well I have told you before how great I think they are. My only problem is that they are getting TOO popular. It seems that everyone and there mom is getting them now. I am thinking about getting the adire shiva mark 3s. You can get the 12s for 125 shipped. Did you finish your box? How many cubic feet is it? Any updated pics?

there's nothing wrong with something that performs well to be popular. its an awesome inexpensive sub that can compete with subs almost twice its price. why do you think the jbl 1200.1 is also becoming so popular. just think of it as a compliment if your friends want some too
i had one for 1 day, i was surprised at how good it sounded on my bd1000, but i made the mistake of letting it play REALLY loud for an extended period of time,
it never distorted, just popped, and when it did, it took my amp with it......
sounded good though.

i've only had a chance to run my 2 TypeR 10s off of my JBL1200 for a little bit at medium volume or so, but i must say, they are a WORLD of difference over my old Xtants, clean and very loud. I can't wait to hear them after i do the install with a 'glass box and everything. For the price, i don't think you can go wrong!
