Dvd head unit?
Dvd head unit?
Hey guys,
I have this MiniDisc Head Unit and according to crutchfield it is a size M. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to ever fit a 'motorized' lcd dvd screen/player on top of it without cutting? Is there just plain not enough room? If possible, what all connections would i need?
As always thanks for the help,
Silverblade

I don't know of anything that may work, but if you are in the market for a new head unit, I would suggest looking into thi new clarion

This is about $600 less than anyone else has them for, and it does it all from cd's to mp3 cd's to dvd's. It also has a built in 7inch touchscreen lcd. I love it. I have it in my Yukon. It's the best money I've spent on the truck yet

It looks like it's a single din unit. You have a 1 1/2 din opening, so no, you couldn't install a motorized screen without that head unit. According to sony's website, it's 2" tall, which is what their other single din head units are. It's possible to fit two single din units, but it does require some cutting.
